Monica Zeringue

Monica Zeringue is an artist working in New Orleans.  She works primarily with the self-portrait, investigating her own experiences with transition, growth, and stagnancy. She weaves borrowed imagery with her personal narrative to create a new mythology.  Monica is represented by Jonathan Ferrara Gallery.  She is the 2014 recipient of the Painters and Sculptors Grant from the Joan Mitchell Society.
