Alex Pflueger was born, raised and spent most of her life in Southern California, though she currently enjoys the seasons of the East Coast. She lives and works at a Camphill Community in Eastern Pennsylvania. She was drawn to embroidery after finding a patch of Elton John's head that her mom had made as a teenager.
